HONG KONG – Coco Lee, the Hong Kong-American diva, has raised health concerns among her fans following a lengthy social media post on New Year’s Eve, accompanied by multiple images.
Among the photos were tattoos of the words “love” and “faith” adorning her arms.
“Love and faith – my two cherished words that I hold close to my heart, which I needed desperately to navigate through this incredibly challenging year,” she expressed last Saturday.
“There were moments when life felt unbearable, but I embraced the spirit of a ‘female warrior’ to confront challenges fearlessly, all while maintaining my radiant smile and hearty laughter.”
The 47-year-old artist also shared an image showing her weight at 42.3 kg and another depicting what appeared to be a drainage bag on her body, without providing further context.
This has led many worried fans to comment on Lee’s post, urging her to prioritize her health and wishing her a swift recovery.
Some inquired if she had suffered an injury or recently undergone surgery.
Lee, who released her latest single “Playboy” in November, had previously disclosed her inability to dance due to ongoing recovery from an injury.
“I look forward to seeing you all dance to this song for me,” she mentioned on social media in November.
Despite the concerns, Lee’s New Year’s Eve message conveyed a sense of positivity.
“My aspiration for 2023 is to share my life story and how I navigated major life-altering challenges while maintaining a positive outlook,” she shared.
