SINGAPORE — Mediacorp is thrilled to announce the return of its annual New Year’s countdown party, “Let’s Celebrate 2023!” As Singapore’s largest content creator and national media network, Mediacorp invites everyone to join in the celebration with FREE admission—no registration required!
The festivities will take place at The Promontory, Marina Bay, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display at midnight to ring in the new year. Hosted by popular artists Germaine Leonora Tan, Maya Nicole Davidov, Kishan J, and Zhin Sadali, the event promises an exciting lineup of performances from local and regional talents, including Shila Amzah, Richie Koh, Yung Raja, ALYPH, Ebi Shankara, Glenn Yong, Desmond Ng, and Rahimah Rahim.
In addition to the live entertainment, attendees can participate in games for a chance to win prizes, while enjoying a wide variety of food and refreshments. Mediacorp will also feature a special Bullet Time Photo Booth, allowing guests to create personalized New Year’s greeting videos.
Gates will open at 7 PM on December 31, 2022, with celebrations running until 12:15 AM. It’s a first-come, first-served basis for prime viewing spots, so arrive early! For those unable to attend in person, the event will be livestreamed on meWATCH and Mediacorp Entertainment’s YouTube channel starting at 10 PM, and on Channel 5 from 11 PM.
Please note that this is a standing event. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. To reach the venue, Mediacorp recommends using the island-wide Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, as certain roads around Marina Bay will be closed. MRT services will be extended on New Year’s Eve.
